Sermon 25: Ten Habits of Highly Effective Solomonists
Habit One: Solomonists have complete faith that their ultimate gift from God is Heaven. They accept their purpose of learning how to accept Paradise and proceed in that direction with diligence.
Habit Two: Solomonists trust God to perfectly handle His job of directing their achievement of Heaven. They realize that everything that happens is necessary to their purpose and that God is always paying close attention to their every move.
Habit Three: Solomonists thank God for every thing, big or small. They find a reason to be grateful for most of their daily occurrences, not only the ones that are rewards for learning heavenly lessons, but the ones that are part of the teaching process.
Habit Four: Solomonists immediately consult with God over every issue, big or small. They pray for everything they want God to help them, and other people, with, and then trust in His response.
Habit Five: Solomonists understand that a great help God gave them in fulfilling their purpose is to follow the Ten Commandments closely. They quickly learn from their mistakes and actively develop ways to control them from happening again.
Habit Six: Solomonists make and review every choice with their purpose in mind. When events are unsatisfactory, they make the necessary corrections by examining how they are treating God, treating other creatures and treating themselves. They strive to develop a personality replete with heavenly traits.
Habit Seven: Solomonists realize that everyone is on the same important mission that they are and treat others appropriately. They understand that it is not their job to judge or try to control the paths of others.
Habit Eight: Solomonists look at events, not through extremes of good or bad, but with acceptance of all that God hath wrought. They strive for balance which will bring them the peace and contentment necessary for choosing the paradise of Heaven.
Habit Nine: Solomonists promote peace, even during continuing conflict. They understand that there are no absolutes, that everything is relative to a person’s own experiences. They are able to allow others make their own choices along their unique path to Heaven.
Habit Ten: Solomonists publicize the Goodness of God with every conversation. They behave as if they were already in Heaven with God and everyone else, and encourage others to follow their lead.
