Sermon 26: Offer No Resistance

God is all powerful and all knowing. God wants you to experience Heaven and God never fails in this endeavor. You will learn the lessons necessary to appreciate Heaven. The only question is how much resistance will you offer?

Your purpose is to learn to be able to interact with God, everyone else and your own thoughts in the contented manner necessary to keep Heaven heavenly. To succeed in this with the least amount of struggling, you must believe in this purpose wholeheartedly, and pursue it singlemindedly. You must have complete faith in this quest and set aside any goals you have set for yourself as secondary if they do not prepare you for this pleasant afterlife.

Sometimes we get distracted by things that don’t matter, and it takes you away from giving a healthy amount of attention to God, other people, and yourself. At these times, the faster you get back on task, the better for your happiness. God will not let you peacefully continue to ignore your mission, and signs will be sent as reminders to get back on a straighter path. You cannot continue to resist these messages from God, and they will only get stronger. God will not let you flounder. He will show you the error of your ways with as much tough love as it takes.

So, keep your purpose in mind while you make choices in your life. Make the ones that show that you understand what you need to accomplish, and avoid needless hardships. Completing the requirements to ascend to Heaven is mandatory. It is not the time for resistance. It is the time to surrender to faith.

Sermon 25: Ten Habits of Highly Effective Solomonists

Habit One: Solomonists have complete faith that their ultimate gift from God is Heaven. They accept their purpose of learning how to accept Paradise and proceed in that direction with diligence.

Habit Two: Solomonists trust God to perfectly handle His job of directing their achievement of Heaven. They realize that everything that happens is necessary to their purpose and that God is always paying close attention to their every move.

Habit Three: Solomonists thank God for every thing, big or small. They find a reason to be grateful for most of their daily occurrences, not only the ones that are rewards for learning heavenly lessons, but the ones that are part of the teaching process.

Habit Four: Solomonists immediately consult with God over every issue, big or small. They pray for everything they want God to help them, and other people, with, and then trust in His response.

Habit Five: Solomonists understand that a great help God gave them in fulfilling their purpose is to follow the Ten Commandments closely. They quickly learn from their mistakes and actively develop ways to control them from happening again.

Habit Six: Solomonists make and review every choice with their purpose in mind. When events are unsatisfactory, they make the necessary corrections by examining how they are treating God, treating other creatures and treating themselves. They strive to develop a personality replete with heavenly traits.

Habit Seven: Solomonists realize that everyone is on the same important mission that they are and treat others appropriately. They understand that it is not their job to judge or try to control the paths of others.

Habit Eight: Solomonists look at events, not through extremes of good or bad, but with acceptance of all that God hath wrought. They strive for balance which will bring them the peace and contentment necessary for choosing the paradise of Heaven.

Habit Nine: Solomonists promote peace, even during continuing conflict. They understand that there are no absolutes, that everything is relative to a person’s own experiences. They are able to allow others make their own choices along their unique path to Heaven.

Habit Ten: Solomonists publicize the Goodness of God with every conversation. They behave as if they were already in Heaven with God and everyone else, and encourage others to follow their lead.

Sermon 24: Beliefs of Solomonism

Solomonism is a religion that is based on the following beliefs:

Belief that God is everywhere, all the time, and readily available to you.

Belief that God is the Creator of all that we know and of all that we don’t know.

Belief that God created everything for us and deeply loves all His creations.

Belief that each of us has the same wonderful purpose of ascending to Heaven.

Belief that we are all on the same path to Heaven, learning the same set of skills to gain heavenly qualities.

Belief that loving God, ourselves, and one another are the skills necessary to achieve our ultimate purpose.

Belief that God is intently involved in your individual path, leading you towards success.

Belief that God inspired the writings of the Bible to help us direct our paths and understand our purpose.

Belief that the Fall of the Garden of Eden spells out our need for the acceptance of faith, trust and love over knowledge.

Belief that The Ten Commandments are what God considers the most important laws in your life, to further ease the burden of life’s lessons.

Belief that God will keep humanity in existence by providing increased direction, at times, through circumstances and through heroes, both big and small.

Belief that the complexity and unique qualities of scientific discoveries point to the existence of God.

Sermon 23: Keep It To Yourself

You, and each and every person around you, are all involved in picking your ways through your individual paths to Heaven. It’s not easy for any of us. Part of the lessons each of us must learn, before we can accept a well-populated Heaven, is how to peacefully interact with any and every other. Unfortunately, we have found that the easiest way to get people to agree with you is to say something negative. This counter-productive way of bonding promotes complaining and gossiping. If these are bad habits of yours, they can be broken with practice.

You do not need to use other people as a dumping ground for your negative thoughts. If you have an unpleasant or malicious thought flit across your brain, you do not always need to voice it aloud. When something is going wrong for you, you do not need to vent it out to all your friends and co-workers. They don’t need to hear it.

Strive to set an example for breaking the cycle of escalating gloominess. What other people should be hearing from you are uplifting observations about distressing situations. They need someone to steer the direction of the conversation to the cloud’s silver lining. They need to be shown that there’s an up side to everything. They need to be reminded that God’s path toward Heaven is all about achieving peace and tolerance. They need to be reminded of the greatness of all God has created.

Fortunately, though, you do not need to keep everything inside you either. The place to vent is alone with God. God is not only the correct ear in which to voice your complaints, concerns and suspicions, but He is also in the unique position of being able to alleviate them. And He is so easy to get your point across to because He happens to be all-understanding, and all-forgiving, when it comes to the subject of you.

Let God handle all your gripe sessions. He can take it and He can even fix it. He will also offer unfailingly correct guidance. You make sure that you insist on conveying the majority of your outward messages in a positive manner. This will make considerable progress towards straightening and smoothing your own Heavenly path.
